I went to an event last week and met up with friends and new people, who I had never met before. There was a guy there, who asked me how old I was more than once. He bought me a drink at the end of the evening and seemed to joke about dating me at the end of the night, saying that he was good with mother's and mentioned his ex.
Then today, I got a text from one of my friends who know him and who said that the guy had invited me to his birthday house party later during the evening. Unfortunately, since it was last min I wasn't able to go.
Why would the guy ask my friend to invite me to his birthday party too? Could he perhaps be interested in me or is it just a friendly thing?
