Is three years a big age gap when dating?

So me and this guy, Devin, have been talking for about a month now, and I like him. But he is in 11th. My sister thinks she can control my relationship. (She's in 10th). I just don't really know what to do.

Depends on the age. For example if one of you is 18 and the other is 15, that gap is pretty significant. On the other hand, the ages 22 and 19 are more tolerable. If you're both legal then I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Generally the older you and your partner get, the less the age gap matters.

No its not, three years is fine. People seem to make a big deal about it when your younger but as you get older that just goes away. i'm dating someone who is five years older than me and we have been going strong for a year now. Age doesn't matter, unless its like over ten years inbetween.😊

No that's not a big age gap at all, tell your sister to stay out of your resltionship she's either extremely annoying bugging into your guys business like that or she's jealous. I would say 5-6 or even 10 years is a big age gap.

If you're 25 and he's in 11th, that is more than 3 years unless he's a reeeallly slow learner. In either case you should avoid him.

No. I honestly don't believe in this if the person is not underage and is mature enough there's no reason why you shouldn't date. I've dated 18 years olds who are more mature than my 24 yo ex.
