Honestly the answer to this is different for different people. Like for me i was working at a car dealership detailing cars and i hated it. I also had a small gig where i video taped football games for the radio station. Now i have gotten a promotion at the station which i love and have quit my detailing job that i hated. Just try to find something that peeks your interest. I already did video stuff as a hobby so it worked out perfectly, i am learning so much more about what i wanted to do anyways.

It's impossible unless your are driven by work which I never will be. Work will always be work for me. I don't have a passion for it or any job.
I'm assuming you're probably working in retail? Yeah there are a lot of really shitty jobs, and in retail usually you find more good than bad. I'm sorry, I know it sucks.
That being said, there are great ones out there. I've had some really miserable jobs but eventually had two that I loved and were awesome. The key is finding a place that's a good company and whose managers don't hate their jobs and their lives, because unhappy managers really take it out on their workers.
Focus on what you are interested in doing and/or learning. Think about what you are studying in college. Try to find a job in that field. That will give you experience that you can add to your resume later and, hopefully, it will be something you enjoy more so than just busting your butt at jobs that will take you nowhere (usually) in life.
