I don't understand why men assume that when a girl plays with her hair, she likes the guy she is talking to. Maybe she wanted to make sure she looked good... just to look good (women do this all the time regardless of whether or not they actually like the person they are trying to look good in front of!) Or she could just be more fidgety. I am always doing something.. twirling or fixing my hair, biting my lip (which also does not mean that I like someone), or tapping my foot. So, in my opinion, she did not necessarily like you just because she was twirling her hair.. how do I know?.. because I do that same thing! :)
hair twirling is an absent minded thing girls do, it doesn't necessarily indicate she liked you...it could mean she was flirting...it could mean she was bored.
sorry, girls aren't that transparent. it's hard to say if that's you're only indicator...not everything a girl does is a signal. you guys need to stop reading into every last detail.
Twirling her hair doesn't mean she likes you. I twirl my hair when I bored or subconsiously when I have nothing to do with my hands. The eye contact could mean she likes you though. Some girls might twirl their hair when they're flirting I guess. Don't jump to conclusions but there is some hope so try to find out more! Good luck!
It CAN be, but then again I wouldn't base the answer to your question solely on that.
When looking at body language, I try and find multiple things (5+ or something like that), and check for consistency if at all possible. See if she does these things with other people as well, and how often she does it in your other encounters with her.
Don't jump to conclusions. She might be causious about the way she looks or it might be a habit... doesn't make you any special. The only way to know if a girl likes you is by looking at the things she does FOR you.

Yes! She likes you, this is a subconscious body language cue. Girls do this when they are attracted to a male. It is a sort of primping. The only other thing it could be is a nervous habit and if this is true, it is a sign that she is somewhat narcissistic. And only you can judge which one since you met her, I have not. So ask yourself, did you feel like she was genuinely interested in what you were saying or did she care more about herself? There's your answer :)
i wouldn't take that as a sign she likes you, girls play with their hair. its just something we do. sometimes we don't even realize we're doing it. but the eye contact could mean she does.

It could mean she likes you, but some girls just twirl their hair for the hell of it. Just hope she isn''t like me and only twirls her hair when she's tired or bored :S
