Guys- if you think a girl is a 'total babe' does that mean 1.) you are attracted to her OR 2.) just think she is attractive?

Or does it mean that you think she is attractive but you might not necessarily be attracted to her? I mean whenever my girl friends or I say we think a guy is hot, we are usually attracted to him- so just wanted to see if that was also true for when a guy refers to a girl a total babe? Also, is a total babe equated to cute -or- hot/sexy in your opinion?

Depends if it is someone the guy doesn't know personally like a celebrity it most likely means she is attractive. Honestly many female models and celebrities are hot and sexy, but overrated. If he does know her (has seen her or interacted with her in the flesh), it usually means he is attracted to her. Total babe is usually hot/sexy.

The reason I ask is because the guy who referred to me as a total babe among a group of other guys, one of whom later told me, has always acted a little cold with me and once even told me he didn't find me attractive even though he continues to want to hang out with me.

let me explain, when i call a woman sexy, i am attracted to her in a very sexual way, when i call a girl cute it means i want to go out with her or be friends... But a total babe is a woman i want to do both with! i want to marry every woman i have ever called a total babe, my standards are pretty high so a total babe is ultimate!

Yeah maybe that guy just doesn't want to seem desperate or doesn't want to seem vulnerable among his friends by expressing his feelings, or he may think of you as unobtainable, most total babes are... unless the guy is a total hunk!

Usually when you say someone is attractive, it means you find them attractive yourself. Makes no sense otherwise.
'This cake is delicious! Well, personally I don't really think so, but it's delicious...' No sense, right?

But as Phoenix98 said, finding someone attractive doesn't mean you wanna date them.
