Why does he think I hate him?

My coworker whom I have a major crush on thinks I hate him, but I don't. Why would he say that? I just don't understand I talk to him a lot. I play around with him a lot. I give him an additude quite often though. Anyway any advice I'm confused.

Not sure what you mean by giving him attitude, but it doesn't sound like a good thing in this context. You make it sound more like you are being combative or argumentative. If that's the case the playing around can actually seem like anything but playing around.

Attitude does not equate to confidence or flirting. It equates to, why the hell would I want to hang around with someone that is always giving me attitude.

Maybe it's possible that you did something unknowingly that has put him off completely. I don't know what it could be. I am not going to guess anything but it's possible because of that he may think you hate him.

Otherwise you can go upfront to him and ask him about it.

I once had an Asian woman trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't buy at the grocery store. Almost as if she tried to take control.

I thought she was really weird, but learned later she was actually hitting on me. Talk about cultural differences..

probably because you give him attitude. did he tell you he thought you hated him?
If you're crushing on him ask him to hang out/ go on a date
