i visited a friend of mine from college. it was very random because he and I were never CLOSE friends in college, but he has texted me every weekend for about a year. I became very close with his mom before I came to visit over facebook, and the guy kept texting me "i can't wait!" and "7 days until you come!" and "i want to see you!" when I got there (for 3 days) we had a lot of fun. he was laughing a lot and I definitely acted like my fun, crazy self. he was laughing a lot and during one dinner in particular he kept making eye contact with me for a long long periods of time. at one point during dinner, he sat there with his hands on his face, and stared at me, not speaking. we had a lot in common. we realized this during a 20 min long conversation about our fave movies, and we like the same bands. at one point, though, his mom told us when we were both sitting in the house together that we could stay in the same bed if we wanted. we both ignored that, and he never made a move.
i went home and he said he had fun. I realized our fave band was playing in my town in a month, so I waited 4 days after I got home and invited him to go. he hasn't answered and is now avoiding me. the weird part is, his mom is still actively talking to me on facebook.
i get that it's over, so I just wanted to move on. I told him how I always felt and how I was always nervous to tell him. he has a thing for me, but a relationship wasn't on his mind now. so I took that as he wasn't interested. so I went to a party a few weeks ago and he drunkenly texted me, but I was sleeping so I didn't respond obviously. then I saw him at a party the next day and we both just kind of avoided each other, but I know he saw me and I drunkenly texted him that night but he never responded.
