Girls: Why would you flirt with a guy after you rejected him?

I've had a few instances in the past where girls flirted with me, they'd agree to a date, which would be a fun time. Then she'd reject me for a second date, saying she only wants to be friends. I'd put distance between us and then she'd start flirting with me again. She'd be giggling, smiling, staring, looking for me to talk, and sighing sadly when I leave etc. Why do girls do this to guys?

Two main possibilities:

1. She sounds like a girl who likes the idea of flirting and getting the attention from guys rather than thinking of 'settling down' for one guy. As she said, she prefers to be just friends because it's a bit of fun flirting and then there is nothing to worry about after it. She might also be a bit unsure about you so it's always better to keep the distance - after all, it's easiest to be friends when you were really only ever friends.

2. Either that or she's playing hard to get. And she's really caught your attention.

Flirt with her back heavily and then tell her playfully and teasingly that she is a f***ing attention whore. Then tell her about all the women that you flirt with and be a little bit of a d*** to her. Then tell her you have something very important to talk to her about on the phone and never call her and then some time accuse her of wanting to get into your pants and tell her that if she keeps creeping you out like that, you'll run away from her, then call her an attention whore again.

Some women are confusing, man. From my experiences, women seem to have one thing in common, which is they like to feel wanted by guys that they find attractive. Especially attractive guys that have shown interest in them.

When that interest is detracted, they flirt and tease the guy an in effort to keep it going, even if they have no intentions of dating him. Not all women play those games, just those that are attention junkies.
