Why does he stare at me coldly?

He used to be very warm and friendly towards me. We had a few short conversations but we're not friends. I'm a shy person, so mostly I just smiled and didn't talk much. He stared at me a lot whenever I'm in his vicinity. Over the time, my feelings for him grew stronger. But sadly, he has a fiance. So, I refrained myself and started to ignore him (I just didn't know what else to do). Now, he ignored me back but sometimes he stares at me with this very cold eyes. It hurts me so bad.

I just want to know what's in his mind whenever he gave me this cold stares. Please help me!

It sounds to me that if he was friendly and had a few short convos with you, but you're not friends and shy around him, that you might be coming across as antisocial or not friendly. I realize that you're probably not like this, but try smiling or saying hey every now and then and see if that helps him not be so cold? :]

fetishes - thanks heap for your answer :-) Yeah... my shyness is killing me. Now when I see him I try to smile at him or talk to him but seeing his cold eyes makes me weak and numb. Do you have any idea why his eyes are so cold?

I know how you feel. I used to be shy and it honestly takes a long time but you'll get there eventually if you work on it :D I have no clue why his eyes are cold though, because he might have something going on in his life. You could guess, but you really won't know until you talk to him. :]

I think he was upset that I ignored him :'( So, those cold eyes mean he hates/dislikes me?
