Girls: What makes you miss a guy?

Pretty self explanatory. What are reasons that you might miss a guy? And does giving you space/not talking to you for a while actually make you miss someone, or are you just put off and talk to other people?

I'll especially miss a guy if he contributes to my life in a way that others don't. For example, if we have conversations in which I can express myself in a way that I can't with most people, I'll miss him more. Like I love telling stories, but I don't do it often because many people just get bored quickly and prefer to communicate in a shorter back and forth sequence. However, one guy I dated loved my stories, and enjoyed telling me his own, so our conversations were mostly exchanges of stories about our lives. When things ended, I was more upset than I usually am, because he provided me with something that is hard to find elsewhere.
To answer your second question, fading out on someone often makes them miss you at first, but once they get over it it's hard to build back up to a point where they like you enough to miss you again. I'm a psychology major, and one of the basic rules of psychology is that the saying "distance makes the heart grow fonder" is a false. Rather, we like things that are familiar to us. So if you like someone, instead of distancing yourself, you should make an effort to be close to them.

I'll miss a guy if he does sweet little things for me. Like say if every morning before I wake up, he sends me a good morning hope you have a great day text & then all of a sudden it stops. I"ll miss that. Or when I see little reminders of things we did together, that will make me miss him. If I dont ask a guy to give me space or for him to stop talking to me, it just puts me off because why would you go mia on me with no explanation as to why? It would make me wonder what he doing but it won't make me miss him. It will just make me mad, hurt, and confuse

Omg! When my guy doesn't text or call, it makes me miss him so much!! Sometimes I'll be hanging out with his family, and he'll be there, but working out in the field or something, and that makes me miss him.

He also has and currently is playing a large role in my life, and him & I have been very close, and that makes me miss him so much more.

If you're trying to make a girl miss you, please don't ignore her or not talk to her or anything, because it makes us very sad, and some girls like myself, can get lovesick, and it's very bad!

If they seem to be ignoring me, leaving me hanging or whatever that might just seem like they aren't interested in me.

If you leave a good impression depending on what the girl likes then she might miss you, especially if you give the impression that you might be interested in her. She wouldn't feel clingy and guilty for missing you.

I seem to miss the guys with the cute pinchable cheeks and sunny smiles. Those guys who're just so adorable in their own ways and they haven't got onto my nerves yet ^^

To me, if you dont talk to me and I have a crush on you, I won't do anything about it. I will just talk to alk my other friends because I dont want to seem annoying. Truthfully, I would miss you so much and think about you day in and day out. Just give a girl space then talk to her once you see her body language shwoing she misses you, which you can search on google :)
