Many reasons actually. A lot of girls do that because of immaturity-not realizing yet that games are the wrong way to go, or afraid of coming on too strong and scaring the guy off, or they have experience with other guys who played games first. And finally, it could be that they like to play games for attention. As in women "players". Yes, they do exist.
Some guys play games, some girls play games. This isn't a gender thing.
Wow I just posted this question... it annoys the hell out of me when they play hard to get because it shows how immature they are. I'm the kind of guy that want to cut the games and be straight forward so when a girl plays games it is the ultimate deal breaker.
