A girl that I like keeps trying to hook me up with other girls. Is she telling me that she isn't interested?

There's this girl that I like that is 3 years older than me and is in the same year as me in university. We flirt with each other a lot, and it is obvious that there is some sexual tension present. However, almost every time she talks to me she tells me that "We need to find you a nice girl?" or "So what do you think of such and such girl?". Is she trying to tell me that she isn't interested or is she checking to see if I'm interested in other girls?

I'm kind of confused.

it sounds like she's interested. girls ask so they can know your availability. she is kinda hoping you will make a move on her. next time she asks about another girl say no she wasn't what I was looking for but there is this other girl and then describe her as how you see her I.E. cute funny sexy smart . and then say things like and she sits next to me in a class so by now she's getting that your talking about her. but still make it vague so it could possibly be someone else and ask her if you should ask her out if she says yes go for it.

if she's interested in you she will melt and think its the cutest thing in the world. she will tell all her friends and be excited about how you did it because that's like something that happens ina movie. and all girls want to feel like they are in a love story like the notebook.

I never made a move because I was starting to see things in her that were setting off red flags (the way she treated her friends, her hypocritical racist tendencies...).

I think she likes you a little more then she may want to admit to herself. There is nothing wrong with a female being a little older then the guy. But some people might think other wise. Maybe its the age thing she is worried about. Maybe she thinks that she is older then you you may not want an older female to be around. Or lest for me when I use to say something like okay who are you interested in is there anything I can do to help you get her attention? I think its her way of wanting to get to know you more. Deep down for me if I would of said that deep down I would of liked the guy to of said yea I like someone and she is right in front of me shruges. Things do not go that way though. some girls like to flirt, it's a way to be friendly and fun. It doesn't mean anything but sometimes you noticed the guys start to like you, so you try to find a way out of it without feeling bad. That's what I'd always do when I'd flirt with a guy innocently thinking it would go no where, and he start to like me. I'd find a girl to hook him up with. Who knows with her though, she's not me. Everyone's different.

Good question, I'm not sure I can answer though. The most logical answer is that she is trying to discover if you like her or not. I know that for some reason when I like a guy I always ask questions like that, I even went as far as to set him up on a date before. I'm not sure why I did it. All I know is that I felt stupid afterwards---> girls are complicated creatures.

She's fishing to find out if you like her. If she was actually fixing you up with one of her friends, I would say she isn't interested, but her comments are just a way of waiting to hear you say "I don't want another girl, I want you.".

the way she's saying those things to you is hinting at her liking you.

"we need to find you a nice girl" ------ "AKA ME" is what she means

"So what do you think of such and such girl?" --------- sign that she cares about what you think about other girls. she wants to make sure that you don't like them more than you like her.
