I hooked up with my roommate that I’m subletting with, just for context I don’t think I’ll be here for more than 3 months and when I moved in the chemistry was just amazing, the night I moved in we did end up almost hooking up and then a few days later we did. I’m trying to gage if this is something consistent or if this was a one time thing. Apparently the roommate that’s subleasing the room used to hook up with him and I don’t want to make things complicated or hard for him because he actually lives here. To gage if he wants to I let him know tonight I’ll leave my door a bit open and he basically said OK and then proceeded to play video games for the past 7 hours (which is not abnormal he does that most nights or almost every night) should I text him to ask him, or basically bring it up to him, my question of hanging in my room was super low stakes so if not it’s not really like a rejection it’s basically just the answer, guys what would you do? I also know the other roommate that’s still here did think he was gonna try to hook up with me because she said that I’m like exactly the kind of girl he likes. So anyway low stakes if I kept hooking up, but I made my move I feel like a low stakes move, and he didn’t go after it.

I just moved in I didn’t know he was a 35 year old guy who prioritizes video games over most things. I thought my approach wasn’t too perverse, better than walking around naked. I mean part of why I said my door was open is because I thought it was a simple enough way of showing interest without being rejected, I mean if he brings it up I’ll talk about it. There also is a 10 year difference so maybe he just thought of it as a one time thing.
