Why do girls do this?

So I'm now in sixth grade, and ever since last school year, my friends have been asking about my bra size and how pointy or big my boobs are. In fourth and fifth grade, they didn't care about those girls things. Now that's all they talk about. Bras, boobs, periods, boys. And I haven't gotten my period and I wear a AA bra. Is it normal that they always show their boobs to each other? And they always ask to see mine but I don't like to show mine but I do anyways and they always say stuff like "you'll grow, and you'll get bigger someday" it's so annoying! I like being friends with them when we talk about boys and school and real world stuff. Not showing my breasts to all them. Can any of u guys or girls relate?

Sorry, but that's what it's like being a teenage girl. They'll grow out of it. You're probably more mature than them, which was what I was like. I found their conversations boring. That's all they know right now, they're discovering new things like you so it's good to have a support network who are so open to discussing these things. Usually no-one talks about anything. I never showed my boobs to friends.

Wow...6th grade? Dang. All the girls I know STILL don't talk about this stuff wow. We're all actually really secretive about things like if we started our period and boobs and crap. Tell them talking about it makes you uncomfortable. If they're really your friends they'll understand.

Your bodies are changing and its very normal to want to compare and exchange notes and to start becoming interested in the opposite sex

@asker i can see where repto is coming from, that being said, i always found it really weird when girls showed each other their bodies at that age. When i was wondering if i was normal or just comparing experiences i would ask my friends not ask to see. I mean, everyone does things differently but i never did that so i can sympathsize with you feeling awkward or grossed out by it. Honestly, if you dont feel comfortable with it, you need to tell them. I never showed mine to anyone but i had multiple girls comment on them in middle school and it made me feel really uncomfortable. If they are your friends they will accept your comfort level and respect it
