Why do girls stare at me at the gym?

I'm a girl, and when i workout at the gym other girls literally just get stuck staring at me for what feels like several minutes. I could understand why guys would stare but i don't get why girls do it, sometimes more and more noticeably than the guys. It's kind of awkward and annoying to try and do my exercises while i feel their glaring eyes on me.

Why do girls do this? If you're a girl who does this, why do you do it?

it could be you are in great shape and they are looking at what you are doing. Or they could just be envious of your shape. or maybe you are messing up on your form. Or maybe you are a big girl who working out hard, and they secretly hating on you. So many possibilities, I wish you would tell us more about you

Either they love you (like straight girl crush or she's gay), jealous of you, or comparing bodies with you.

You shouldn't feel bad. It's a compliment. Just smile and walk off like nothing happened even if they gave you the "death/hate" stare.

I'm an endomorph and hourglass shape. i wear clothes in neutral colors at the gym and a loose top so i don't reveal too much, nothing too fancy.

If the picture below is you or looks like you, its not abnormal you get looked at. You have good body proportions and if you have some muscle definition on top when you train, people will consider you as a trained person and a nice example (or be jaleous)

I know this seen it first hand, women do it more than guys. They look at your booty and boobs and wish they can have them, your physice probobly threatens there existance. With you around they have no chance with you guys. So they have to elimate the threat. Guess girls way of doing that is staring at you. LMAO

My "gear" is not flashy at all, it's very simple, basic in neutral colors and i always wear a loose shirt to cover up somewhat

Women are notorious for checking out other women for competition. I'm nowhere near 21... I've been noticing this CLEARLY for about 15 years. Women check out other women more than they do guys now... it's a competition deal.
