Do girls really like muscle

It always seems like girls prefer the skinny scrawny guys and the chubby fat ones. I am one of the strongest guys at my school but for what. Most of the working is to look good for girls, but seems like for nothing

I've actually been asked a similar question from many of my guy friends.

You'll come to discover that this question is actually asked from all types of guys, like a scrawny guy asking if all girls are in to chubby guys and chubby guys asking if all girls prefer muscle guys!

I, honestly, prefer men with muscular arms and shoulders, but abs, to me, are actually a HUGE turn off! If he's got a little more cushion, maybe some love handles, and strong legs and arms (and ooh, those shoulders), he better stay clear of me unless he wants to be tied to my bed!

A question I have for you is, what type of girl are you trying to attract? Air-head and bubbly girls are more likely to go after muscle guys, because most mature women know, it takes a lot of time to keep those muscles toned, and that means less time for her! You'll find that most girls are actually attracted to the 'good-ol-boy' look, of average muscle tone and slight pudge.

However, if you want to attract the 'right' kind of woman (they are few and far between, but they do exist), stop looking, be yourself, and do what makes you feel good. If you're working out to attract women, then you're doing it for the wrong reasons.

I can honestly say that I am not one of those women who like walking skeletons or those who are overweight. I have nothing against overweight people because quite a few family members struggle with weight problems but when it comes to what I find physically attractive, it's muscles all the way!

Now I'm not talking about body builders but more like this link especially if he has nicely built legs like this link . Now THAT'S attractive! The one thing I've never really liked is the skinny look on a man. They look as bad as anorexic women as far as I'm concerned.

Now if you are only working out for other people to notice you then you may want to rethink things a bit. You should only get ripped if it's something you want to do and that you like the look. It should never be for someone else.

I, myself, am not a big fan of muscular guys... Taylor Lautner, OK Taec Yeon and even Cristiano Ronaldo are too muscular for me... But then again, it's good that I don't choose a "mate" based by appearance..

I know for a thing, tough. That my friends are all into Taylor Lautner and Cristiano Ronaldo, because their muscles are hot. . . So, it's up to personal preference.

I would say that 75%-90% of all girls, finds muscular guys very hot.

I'm the only girl I know, who aren't attracted by muscles.

Funny you mentioned Taec Yeon, I wonder how many people know who he is. A lot of my friends like Taec Yeon and his sexy body. But like you, I'm not falling for the HUGE muscles.

Yes girls like muscle, it's proven that the muscular 'V' shape of a mans laterals (back muscles) is more attractive than nothing, or fat.

However, as with everything there is an extent.

Sure, a lot of girls like muscles. But not a lot of girls date a guy purely for his muscles. He has to have other things going for him too.

No one is forcing you to work out. If you're going to work out, do it for yourself (because you like how it makes you look or because it makes you healthy), not just so you can pick up chicks. If you're doing it for yourself, then it won't seem like its "for nothing".

I love love love muscley guys :) and so do a lot of girls, but the girls here on gag don't seem too for whatever reason. Anywhoooo what I'm trying to say is that you just haven't met the girls that find that stuff attractive, but they are out there ha ha.

I mean, yea muscles are fine, but not to the point where you look like the Hulk...

And ugh, I don't really like chubbyness either. I just like skinny guys/light muscled guys I guess. It's more "aerodynamic", is the only way that I can really think about it. More agile.

I love really toned arms and legs. Abs that show when you tense is nice, but not when you aren't tensing. That disturbs me. Toned is good, but too much muscle is a bit off-putting.

which girls DONT like muscle? I prefer a guy with muscle.. honestly, when guys are too skinny, it kind of lessens their hotness (unless they can pull it off... somehow). But personality in the end, is more important than the body. Those guys are probably really sweet and nice, that's why the girls go for them. Just my guess tho.

Muscle isn't something that bothers me about a guy. Whether he has it or not isn't a big issue. I do find it attractive, but its not a make or break thing for me.

Well good abs is always a bonus when it comes to guys and nice arms and shoulders don't hurt either... so keep working out most girls love fit bodies.

I don't like it when a guy works too hard on his muscles... it just screams a** hole/player to me! Muscle is attractive but it takes so much more to get me interested like personality etc!
