Is it possible for a person to be talentless?

Cromartie
Usually people talk about how much potential a thing has, a person is no different, and generally those contemplations are based on idealism related to "talents". A talent is simply something, for this case anyway, you can do very well. Now there are people out there who claim they cannot do anything (useful) very well and at best are satisfactory with their activities.

What I am curious of is whether you believe it is possible to not be good at anything (useful) and functionally just have marginal skill all around. Now when I say "talent" understand it does not mean the ability to do something, period; for instance it is not the ability to do mental math, even if a lot of people struggle with mental math; a talent would be defined as something done "above average for it's class" so while a person who can do mental math can do a three digit problem in additional a talented person could do a three digit problem in multiplication, etc.

Your thoughts, good sirs?
