I wouldn't have a friend rub sunscreen on my back, that's kind of weird to me! I only let my fiance do it, and in return I'll put sunscreen on his back. Just the back though, because I can reach everywhere else myself. It doesn't have to be sexual or anything like that at all, but I guess it can be if you want it to be.

It's really just practical to ask someone for help. I went to the beach with my boyfriend and his mate and I helped them both. It doesn't have to be flirty or sexual, but I guess you can make it so.

I've had a female friend rub lotion on my back in the past. No problem for me. Didn't feel weird. She's just a friend. No big deal. If I had a girlfriend then I would definitely let her rub lotion on me. If I didn't feel comfortable with her touching me then she would not be my girlfriend.

I don't see an issue with it. I've had friends of the opposite sex do it to me and vice versa. I never gave it a second thought as being weird. Definitely not an issue when the gf does it.
