Things I Will Never Share Without Being Anonymous

Okay I'm just going to speak for myself. If you read this take, it would help you to question if you should continue to share some of these things without being anonymous.

The Internet can be a dangerous place. Stalkers can learn a lot about you by the opinions you give.

Some of the questions on GAG have asked users to give information about themselves on these topics...

Physical Characteristics

The world is already a shallow place. I don't want my looks to be associated with my username. I want my advices and my intelligence to be associated with my username. I don't want to show off things I have had no control over.

I don't want to attract stalkers and haters based off the information I share about my physical characteristics. I find it very creepy if a stranger over the Internet can imagine what I look like and can associate it with my username...

Height

It's out of the norm for my gender.

Eye Color

My eye color is rare and only a small percentage of people have it which would make it easier to identify me.

Boob Size

That's personal information and most girls wouldn't share that with strangers.

Etc.

This includes clothing sizes, shoe size, eye shape, skin color, hair length/thickness, face shape, and you name it.

Family and Friends

I don't want any information I give about them to be associated with my username. I could only imagine if someone I know uses this site; if I don't share that information anonymously then they could easily figure out I use this site and then see things that I don't want them to see by stalking my username.

Race/Ethnicity

I could get racism if I share it anonymously but it would be much less than not sharing it anonymously. I don't want my username to be the victim of racism.

Religion

I could get religious intolerance if I share it anonymously but it would be much less than not sharing it anonymously. I don't want my username to be the victim of religious discrimination.

Preferences

This can include preferences on sexual things, personal things, food, academics, men, sports I play, and etc. I haven't shared some of my preferences with people I know in real life. Now why would I share them on GAG without being anonymous? Someone might disagree with my preferences and hate me for it so I don't want any of my preferences to be associated with my username.

All of this basically gives information about who you are and what you look like. I don't want a criminal to be able to find me by knowing all this information about me. I don't want to attract haters and stalkers by the information I give about myself.
