I wrote a comment and she ( @THEALIster ) said "I agree you should write a my take about how to know when guys are genuine" I had totally forgotten that I fully intended to do that myTake so here we are! I'm going to be writing from a small group that I polled here so don't be surprised if I come off bias or disingenuous.
Without further ado, let's begin!
1: He is concerned
Let's be honest guys. When we actually care about a girl her safety is always #1 priority to us. If he always wants to know where you are, who you're with, are you safe, do you have a ride home, et cetera he isn't being controlling. It's a mans most powerful natural instinct to protect his woman.
2: Sex is better
I know this one sounds strange but you can tell whether or not a guy is in love with you by how he acts in bed. There is a very large difference between having sex and making love. Making love is different. It's hard to explain but it is. Trust me. You will know when it happens. There is just something... how do I put this... electric... (yeah that's it) about it that doesn't happen with "just sex" I would try to explain further but it's not easy to explain. ^_^
3: Constant cleanliness
We all know that smelling nice and being clean is an important part of every day life. However guys have you ever noticed that when you're in love you shower a lot more often and make carefully sure that you are 110% clean? It's not just a hop in scrub down wash your hair and get out. It turns into a half hour process of carefully wash absolutely everything to the point your skin pigment changes.
4: He needs a LOT of space
A guy being clingy and always wanting to be around you is a BAD sign. When a man is awkward and shy and always tries to get "time with the guys" it's a good thing! Men are conditioned our entire lives to repress emotion. If a guy needs space it means he has strong emotions he needs to handle. Now don't give him this time or he will think you don't care but rather, check in on him as his time goes on. A little "HI" here and a "I love you' there and maybe a few "What are you up to"s.
5: His friends (guy friends) don't like you
Let me clear this up for you girls. His friends HATE YOU! Not because you're a bad person, but because he talks about you CONSTANTLY and it's annoying. So use this as an excuse to insult his friends with a "You're just jealous" if they are being assholes but he will likely step up to defend you if his friends are being asses.
Let's wrap it up shall we?
So these don't apply to ALL men obviously. Through analysis and general asking of my male friends I have come to these 5 being the most common signs of him genuinely loving you. As for you @THEALIster I am sorry I didn't get around to this sooner. I totally forgot. So I hope you all enjoyed and I hope somebody learned something! Thanks for reading guys!
