I would love it actually, but as the other guy said, it depends on what you write on the letter. The example you gave is good for me, as it's not too long and it goes with simple stuff, directly to the point.

An "ahhhh" would be a really long letter, full of girly butterflies stuff. Putting the guy on a pedestal, even higher than any God. Telling him that you couldn't live without him.
