Guys when you stand too close, you do it on purpose?

i noticed one guy from my college who started to stand really close to me recently even when talking to his frinds.
or sits closer if he can, or brushes his arms on mine, bumps into me...
but standing closer is kinda"new" in his behaviour and im confused.
if guy does it on purpose and why?

He's probably trying to see if you reciprocate in a positive way. He might like you or he just might be creepy as hell.

I have really long arms so I try to stand an arm's length away from people when I interact with them.

he's too scared to talk to you , soo he does other thingss to show youu soo you can initiate the conversations. if he does all these things he is obvss really into you !

Probably likes you, but is too shy to admit it fully so he's lending you some subtle cues.

Just converse with him and get to know him. Who knows, maybe you'll like him enough to date him.

look, one time i was standing with my friends and he with his, he wasn't even looking at me but changed his place closer to me, nearly touched my back with his, what is all about?
