Is it possible to reignite the interest?!

I met this guy and he ended up asking me my number. We went out a couple of times and it was fun, and texted a lot. Eventually he texted less and less, and now no more. I did text once in a while too, but I figure he lost interest.

I kind of think he lost interest mostly because it was just an out of sight, out of mind type of thing. If I were to see him again, would I be able to reignite interest, do you think? I would like to get to know him better.

Some of my friends work where he does, which is how I met him, but I kind of haven't wanted to visit them because I didn't want to run into him there. Then I thought about it and decided I don't see why I should be afraid of going to say hi, which is something I used to do on a regular basis before. And then I also figured if we saw each other again, interest might be sparked again as well.

Is that plausible?

It can either go two ways if he does happen to be there: a) he sees me and avoids me which clearly indicates he is not interested. or well, potentially he just feels awkward because he stopped texting.. but I'd go with the former

or b) he acts normal, like nothing happened. if that happens, would that mean he is still somewhat interested or just playing it off?

gaah basically I just want to know if there's a chance to reignite the interest. that's all

and if I do see him again, and he doesn't try to avoid me, is there anything I should do that can get him interested again, or is this a done deal?

You are forgetting one thing. He is a man. You might think that he lost interest, but did he? If you only texted him once in a while, how would that indicate your interest in him? Did you show any other interest in him? I don't know your situation, but I would guess that he could still have feelings for you, even if he's seen you and tried to avoid you. It's possible that he just didn't want to feel awkward.

I think the only way to truly know if he is still interested in you is to visit him/them. Then gauge his body language. That should at least give you a good idea.

But then, when he texts and I reply, why doesn't he ever reply back? In fact, I don't even see the point of him texting once every couple of days and then never replying! hahah I like your explanation though: "You are forgetting one thing. He is a man."

And I definitely plan on visiting in the next 2-3 days sooo we shall see. Or well, I will. I definitely agree that face to face interaction is much better.

He probably felt you weren't interested, he was putting all the effort in and you give him 1 or 2 texts back if you like him do something about it, text him let him know you are interested

I really don't think that was it. I might have not have shown that much interest, but he knew I was at least somewhat interested for sure.

besides, when you say text him and let him know you are, are you asking me to text him saying, hey I like you, let's do something? I might have been more forward, but really, the way he has been texting lately mostly indicates that he's lost interest and is just bored when he decides to text. I would much rather try and gauge interest face to face than via

I sound kind of like I'm attacking your response here haha, I'm not, I just don't see how simplifying it by saying text him to let him know, is really going to work. If he texts me, and I text back, but he doesn't reply and just texts something dumb in a day or two, I think it shows more disinterest on his side than on mine.
