What workouts can I do to lose weight?

I need lose some weight before the summer. I'm 5'2 and 160 lbs... I want to lose at least 15 before summer but what kind of workouts and such can I do at home? Would starting up jogging be beneficial? If so, how can you work yourself up to jogging if you have never really done it much outside of gym class?

Any advice is much appreciated!! I've been overweight for most of my life and I want to change that. I lost 20 pounds somehow last year when I started eating healthier but even though I am still doing the same things, I have just been maintaining my weight for the past 6 months...Please help?
