So squats do help, but weightless squats (aka low weight, high rep) are just going to tone the muscle you already have. But lifting with squats and increasing that weight weekly (aka high weight, low rep) will allow the muscle to grow and expand. Once your satisfied you can do body weight squats to maintain the muscle.
by the way that applies to any body part. You can look you workouts with low height rep, or high weight low rep depending on what kind of body you want. Also any excessive I suggest googling the proper for. Or getting a trainer (you don't new to keep paying for one forever, just to get started) to show you how to properly use the equipment when you start. Bubble butt omg thats funny okay so try this: Get in a crawling position and lift one leg up and down. Then do the same to the other leg. It works getting your butt toned and some bubble too :P Try it!
Get your feet pointing a bit outward, keep your posture straight. Legs a bit wider than hip level or closer depending what muscles you want worked. Bend the knees and distribute the motion by spreading your legs and sticking your butt out. Get to 90 degrees at least Or lower I'd you can than get back up. Hold a 10 pound plate above your head if you can. Use a barbell across your shoulder if you can too. Also, you can go on a stair machine for 20 minutes every day. A lot you can do.
Why do you want that? You're only going to attract shallow guys with that ass.
