Do guys care about their girlfriends health or do looks really matter?

This is such an awkward question but the thing is I've been struggling with an eating disorder since high school. I'm 5'3 and weight 90lbs. My boyfriend thinks my body is incredible and I honestly don't see it. I know I'm little, and unhealthy and I've tried to gain weight and exercise to gain muscle weight (desperate me) i've tried a lot.

That's your problem, right there. We're looking for young, healthy, fertile women. The things we find to be beautiful correlate with those attributes. You will look and feel your best at a healthy weight, and that's what you should want, regardless of what anyone is attracted to. You're small. You can gain a significant amount of weight and still be in a healthy range.

why wouldn't he try to help the situation he willingly put himself in?

I'm not sure I understand the question, but if he finds you attractive, he's not going to push you to change. Still, like I said, you will still be in a healthy weight range even if you gain a significant amount of weight. I was with a girl about your size. I thought she was attractive at 85 lbs, and much more attractive later when she got up around 115 lbs.

Yeah we care. I mean i like petite girls but there's a limit on how thin i would want her to be. For me petite is a natural thing. Some girls are thin while maintaining strength in their bodies.

Wow I don't have an eating disorder but I'm 5'3 and 90 lbs as well but I'm 15. No matter what anyone says, health is above all else. Being obese or underweight is not healthy and if your boyfriend really truly loves you, he will love you no matter what you look like.

I've had an eating disorder since I was nine. Health matters, and if they don't care about your health and don't try to help you get better then you don't need to with the guy, simple as that

Both do. People who look good also feel good about themselves. They go hand it hand. The trouble is so many girls avoid the issue by resorting to makeup just to take it off at the end of the day and go to bed with no self esteem.

I believe that if a man is truly into you;He will consider your health and/or care about your health. Your health can play a part towards your looks. Example If you're sick your going too look it. And as a female i don't look the best when I'm sick. If you're unhealthy, You can't always be at your best. So if he's still around, I think he cares
