As in overhead press?

I've been stuck in the 135 lbs zone for almost half a year now.
So I say for me... I can do 135 lbs for 12 reps.
Never tried to force myself to limit before but... if we use the calculator my "theoretical" one rep max would be 180lbs... which I don't really think I can do that without herniating every organs in my body so I say...
150ish max realistically.

Shouldn't be any problem picking you up, guys can usually pick up someone their own weight so depends on his and yours.

I would love to carry you. I could probably lift about 50-100 lbs in each arm. I used to work out when I played high school in football. I no longer work out. Although I have been looking to return to the gym. Bench press? I used to lift the max around 300 lbs. Squatting? About 320 or 350.
My most recent gf was about my weight I picked her up an carried her across a park caus she didn't have shoes on. She weighd 60 kg im only 65. But I wouldn't say im average while I dont work out I do work a lot of jobs that require heavy lifting and speed.
I'm not too sure if there really is an "average"
probably is.. but that's beyond me.
I can say though, that back in grade school
one of my good friends was around the 220 mark
and I could lift him from the ground.. not like up high though..
But anything below that, should not be a problem whatsoever
that was years back, so I may be able to lift more now, but then
I don't seek, to become strong, so there's probably plenty of guys
physically stronger than I. ^.~The lift in question is a basic hip hinge and is more about technique than it is about raw strength. Once you get the technique down anyone can do it. Most can lift more than their weight using the proper technique, even young girls.
I do work out yes but even before when I was totally out of shape I could do more than my weight with that specific lift. It's about physiology, not strength.i don't know about the average guy. but i doubt i can lift more than 80 pounds... maybe 100, but no way more.
i tried to lift a female friend of mine once who's 145 pounds but i couldn't even lift her an inch above the ground. but i'm much lighter than her anyway so...I can lift a male fila braziliaro that 150 lb. But I need to be high as fuck, and drunk as shit, inorder to pick up a monster that big.
I phone pull about 6 feet deep and 5 feet above ground and about 2 feet in diamitor. Lifted that fucker out with my bare hands, and I'm a skinny 6'3 white guy. German descendant. When i was 12-13 gr 8 i could lift at least 75 pounds (cause my body structure). Now i can probably do at least 30 chin ups. I found that lifting weigh is bad for you if your underage. It can break the growth plate if you lift too much. However, if you lift just your weight that is the precise amount you should be lifting.
A guy could carry you easy if you are 150 or less. He still could if you are heavier, just not as long
Sorry I chose the answer of what I can lift. I don't know what the average guy can lift. I do work out. But I'm 5'6 and slim so I couldn't lift anyone who wasn't less than or equal to120 pounds. And 120lb would be heavy for me.
Most guys wouldn't have any trouble picking up a person that weighs a bit more than he does.
Personally I can pick up my 300lb friend without too much trouble, but I am 235lbs and basically lift heavy things for a living so I'm not exactly average.Every guy has different strength levels. Guys should be able to hold up at least their own weight I say
I can lift most of the girls. I do workout but even before I could have lifted easily. I am an average person around 180 pounds myself.
I'm currently on 90kg which is about 190 pounds but average guy I think would be about 50-70kg
300lb bench press
350 squat
350 dead lift
800lb leg press
My ex was only 65 kg I always carried her it was easyI don't know since I'm not your average guy.
I've lifted 300+lb dudes before. The average guy can lift a girl of maybe 140 pound.
I can lift a approximately 210I played football in high school I've dead lifted 365 pounds before.
There is no limit if the object is his bae.
Leg press 700 lbs.
So yeah, no problem...75lbs should be a minimum for men. Just saying.
