Adult Acne - how to deal?

I've had acne for as long as I can remember but it's lately been getting muchhh worse and I have it on both cheeks, in between my eyebrows (worst possible place I swear), above the brows and beside my ears (wtf right, I seriously don't know how it got there)

I've been using tea tree oil for a few weeks and I don't see much improvement sadly

Any advice?

Should also add, I have a little more testosterone than the average female

Have you asked your gynocologist or GP to test you for PCOS? It makes you grow more hair in annoying places, affects your cycle, and can really inflame acne. There are internal symptoms too but it can be hard to notice those.

Otherwise I know I tried a drugstore "system" that used tea tree oil that was useless. I really like Simple and neutrogena has a nice break out preventer. I also cannot stress a toner enough.

It could be because during winter skin gets drier and dry skin makes easier to clog pores. I've heard drinking green tea and wash face with green tea help to lessen the acne. Warm steam towel massage at night and apply moisturizer before bed could help too :)

Usually yeah why? I use soap too.

Go to a dermatologist!! Mine helped me so much- there are prescription creams and medicine you can take!

I have a couple of friends who went on a certain birth control to help with their acne and it cleared right up.
