Girl that likes me has cervical cancer would it be a deal breaker?

This girl that likes me told me that she has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. I like her too and I guess she packed up on it because she told me her dianosis. I still might ask her out but I know she's going through a lot of stress now. Would it be a deal breaker to some of you? Should I wait a while before I ask her out if I do decide to do it? I don't even know how to comfort her maybe I might have to give her some space as everyone copes differently.

I have cervical cancer and it's not getting in my way. I jog every morning and work a 40 hour week, go out to dinner and to the movies..
Some days i completely forget that i have cancer..

Educate yourself on HPV and cervical cancer so you can talk about it with her, but never let it consume every conversation..

For me, it would be a dealbreaker. If I get into a relationship, I intend to have a long-term one. I don't want someone with that much baggage, sorry. I've already had a hard enough time with my mother's cancer, I don't think I could bear being around a chronically ill person for another few years.

It depends on how much I like her and what I thought her chances of recovery were. I don't want to fall in love with someone I know is going to die, but If her survival odds are high, I think I might risk it.

True she didn't tell me the staging but looking online prognosis for advanced stage is only 30% survival for 5 years.

You just have to weigh that against how much you like her and decide if that is a risk you can handle.
