My braces cost $7000 and braces are the worst pain ever, worse than any injury or surgery I have had. Every month when you get them adjusted it is constant pain for at least a week and no amount of pills will help you escape the pain. Then sometimes you have to attach little elastics to your braces that go from top to bottom jaw to add even more pain! PLUS migraines and severe headaches are caused by orthodontics! My teeth are perfectly aligned now but it took over 4 years, and now I have a metal wire glued behind my back bottom teeth that has to stay there for life. And top and bottom invisilign night retainers (which always hurt even when you get more used to them), and I have to wear those for the rest of my life too! I recently got the bottom one like a week ago because one of my bottom molars was twisting on it's own and felt like a painful cavity so it has to be twisted back! I had a misaligned jaw and an overbite though so it was really bad they almost just decided to break my jaw and do maxillofacial surgery to set it correctly but that freaked my parents out so they did braces. Seriously though a small gap is cute and even popular for models to have, on girl on the The Next Top Model wanted to get her gap fixed and Tyra Banks begged her not to because it it something unique that is good for models to have, it makes their face recognizable and unique! that type of problem will fix itself (with braced) in less than a month! really!!
and you'll probably need to wear them for a while longer even if they have been fixed, just so that they stay together that way, and then after, you just wear retainers to help them remember to stay in place.. but you don't have to wear them all the time.

if you worry about it, get braces. i was asked the same thing when i was a bit younger than you and i said: pff i don´t care, i don´t need it... now i am conscious about my teeth and hate them but now i am too old so the insurance won´t pay for it anymore.
You're fine as you are! It adds to your "personality". It's something so trivial you shouldn't even think about it, let alone worry about!!

It isn't that big of a deal. Like you said, the straight, healthy teeth that you already have are what matter. I wouldn't bother with braces unless they're really bugging you that much.
If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity then go for it! The gap may not effect your health but if getting it removed will enhance your confidence then I say go for it.
i would say it is fine.. :) but do what makes you feel good. if this bothers you.. and you think you will be more confident if this was fixed then go for braces..
It's ok to have a little gap in front of your teeth but that's up to you sweetie if you want braces or not. I bet you'll look awesome with braces though :)
