I've been in this situation before, where I desperately need to throw up, but because I had chronic nausea and vomiting for years, my body lost it's ability to vomit without manually inducing it. I've always been able to vomit by activating my gag reflex, by touching my uvula, the dangly bit at the back of my throat. If this doesn't work for you (it may take more than one attempt), you might have better luck with an emetic. You've said salt water didn't help, but you may be better off trying mustard diluted in warm water, castor oil (be careful, as this is also a laxative), or, as a last attempt, ipecac syrup if it's available to you.
Make sure you have eaten something mild, like bread, or been drinking plenty before you vomit. This will reduce the acid burns to your throat.
Another thing you could try is an anti-nausea medication, if you can't force yourself to vomit. If you can get a medication with prochlorperazine, or even better, ondansetron, it may help you feel better until you see your doctor.

Don't make yourself vomit , track your food and figure out what's causing you to feed nauseated, try pedilite you can get at Walgreens it helps with that. If that's the only symptom you have it could be mostly stomach issue. Rule out certain things like pregnancy, food poisoning, figure out if you changed your diet or something.
You shouldn't necessarily vomit just because you feel the urge to (bloating, nausia, the feeling of a lump in your throat whatever) in many cases it won't help.
In cases where their is a medical need to induce vomiting doctors will prescribe you medicine to induce it.
Instead of trying to vomit look for other signs of relief and possibly try and see if the appointment can be moved up the list (ask if they can consider putting you on a cancellation list or consider asking other practices)

Don't make yourself vomit, I have gastritis so I sometimes have this pressure in my chest and feel nauseous, makes me feel like vomiting but vomiting doesn't help. Wait to see a doctor, they'll probably figure out what's wrong and prescribe medications ASAP. Why do you have to wait 5 days though? You should go to urgent care/walk in.
Ginger ale, crackers, peppermints. Peppermints actually really work.
