Why would my partner prefer a fat girl and not me who started exercising?

Right now I’m in a rocky long distance relationship. That my partner and I met in a chat group. I was chubby at the time and my partner liked me as I was.

Then over time my health was not good and I developed GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). I began eating less because whatever I ate came back up. This bothered my boyfriend because I was eating less and he thought it was unhealthy.

Till the biggest wake up call happened when I got the stomach flu. I threw up 5 times and developed a fever too. My boyfriend stayed on the phone with me for a couple of minutes when I was sick that I was grateful for.

That once I got better, my boyfriend wanted me to eat big meals again. I didn’t want to and told him specifically that “I want to diet and exercise”.

I have been eating more fruit 🍎 lately and making myself smoothies. Along with eating fat free or low dairy 🥛 and drinking lots of water. I’ve also have been doing aerobics exercises, like jumping jacks/jogging/push ups/and side planks. Along with weight lifting.

My boyfriend has seen my progress and don’t seem satisfied. He says my face looks skinny and unhealthy. But I still stand my ground and continue exercising.

That I noticed he hardly talks to me anymore. I began to get suspicious and signed up again on the chat group I deleted and saw him on a group for fat fetishes.

This broke my heart 💔. Which is why I’m posting this question to understand why boyfriend doesn’t like me exercising and being skinny?
Why would my partner prefer a fat girl and not me who started exercising?
