Relax, @blazerock44, with 'Anesthesia of course,' you will Feel nothing But.. Pressure as your Dentist Takes Tender care of the Problem at hand.
It will be Over before you Can Count sheep. My own Roomie just had Oral Surgeon. They gave Him a few Shots inside of his mouth, which was Nothing more than a Couple of Pricks, and the Next thing He knew, he Says, "I didn't feel a thing, Doc. That was fast."
God luck and Close your eyes and Keep still, Leaving your Head Back on the Head Rest to rest. xx

The needle part itself is usually really quick. It's only in for a few seconds and if they're putting you out anyway there's no reason to worry. But you could also ask them if you can out your headphones in.
So maybe you can close you eyes and listen to your music while they do it
Just think about the end result and how you won't remember an thing. Anesthsia effects everyone differently just hope you go out.
Just close your eyes and it will be done before you know it

Me too - I have major needle fear. I absolutely hate needles. It's trauma for me. I demand the best anesthetist there is and I demand that they take everything slowly - no plunging needles into my skin. Good luck with this as I feel your pain.
Well if you pass out you will be fine because your lying down. Other than that ask someone to come with you and distract you, talk to you and get your mind off the needle
try closing your eyes so you don't see the needle sorry I'm not really sure I don't have a fear of needles
They put numbing gel on your gums and stuff before the needle so you shouldn't have to worry about the pain.
Just man up. You'll be fine.
