It would be rude if I didn't go though..
Just not sure what to do or say!
welll that sounds like me
lets just say when I started dating my boyfriend and went to his house/ sleepover...ive always ate with him upstairs cause I wasn't ready. they understood. had breakfeast/lunch/dinner in bed!
then one day he gave a push and I ate dinner downstairs with them...it wasn't that bad. we did our own thing...only difference was there's 2 extra people.
im pretty different from them. asain and white, 5ft and 5'7ft and over.
they all knew about me and that he liked me before we dated
so yea they should understand that your not ready...its not rude. even if your there youd feel uncomfortable...is that not rude too? give it some time to think. sooner or later youd have to eat dinner with them. why not now?
Hey I use to be extremely shy but I am opening up more and more as the years pass. Don't think about it, just do it. It is great that he has invited you to dinner! Just be yourself and if any questions are asked just tell the truth. Don't, by any means, be ashamed of who you are! You are awesome and these people should feel honored to meet you! Now go get em tiger!
