I'm 5'3 and the lowest I could be while still being healthy is 95 pounds,maybe pushing 90.
I'm 5'3 and 120 something and wish I could be 95-100 lbs.I've been dealing with eating and body images since I was 5 or 6.It's not something I want for a guy or for a girl or because I read something off of a magazine,it's for me.
As much as people on here attack me,perhaps they should acknowledge that I've never brought any girl down with me.I don't say "My secret is vomiting after every meal therefore you should too" I don't,because I know that's not something anyone should have to go through or deal with.
Some people on here seem to think "words of encouragement" are going to stop the next girl from binging and purging or starving herself,but it isn't,it won't,I promise.
You think "eating healthy and staying in shape" is going to make me want to stay my weight or not have a problem?Nope and that's a pretty ignorant line to pull there.
It's not being extremely skinny.
Ever stop to think about girls who are naturally that skinny?How it could offend them that you or anybody else finds something wrong with a girl 5'3-5'5 wanting to be under 100lbs?

I used to be one of those girls who wanted to be naturally skinny. . that sortof thing. Especially since my sisters are so thin and tall, much like models. But now adays I accept myself for who I am. I'm not fat, but I'm not built to be thin. People say I look athletic, which I now take as a compliment.
Don't look at models to decide whos pretty. Most people that out pick models are women and gay men. I read somewhere that most people find a body mass index of 20-22 the idea weight for looks (according to doctors its 19-25 or your over weight health wise, 30 is considered obese) for 5'4" at 20 BMI you would weight 120 Ibs. At 130Ibs your BMI would be 22 so this should still be considered attractive. If you weighed 98Ibs at 5'4" your BMI would be almost 17 so this really wouldn't be considered healthy or attractive.
If you want to be healthy and look good (to most people at least) eat a healthy diet and exercise 2-4x a weekish(dont gotta over do it)
From life experiences larger people tend to not like thin partners and thin people tend to not like larger partners. If you stay in shape you will probably have a better chance at attracting someone that is in shape if that's your thing.
..it's what the media tells the average person... the average person takes what the media tells em to be gospel, so that's what they do... Body image, the size of t*ts, d***s, all that... just the way it is these days. Seemingly very few people like who they are, and it's sad...

I dunno. Its the same as how girls wanted to be chubby back in the 17 and 1800s. Its strange, like, at different ages, an entire culture gets its head set on a particular idea.
