If science can find a way to identify and fix genetic health problems that make living difficult for people I would be all over altering my child's dna, so long as it were a safe procedure. I don't want to pass on my asthma, I'd love to eliminate that, and also fix waaay more serious things like down syndrome, huntington's, multiple sclerosis, cystic fibrosis, etc.

i said yes, but I would only do it if it were safe, and only if they had some kind of genetic problem (ex. down syndrome. I don't even know if that would be something that could be changed!)...
