Worried my mom will think I have an eating disorder...How am I losing weight?!

I'm 5'7 and 180 pounds which is overweight. For the longest time I was stuck at 184 after losing 7 pounds. Recently though I've been losing weight without dieting. Like I'm not eating a lot of healthy stuff or exercising more, however I am snacking less. I have no idea how I managed to lose 3 pounds and keep it off. I know it doesn't sound like a huge deal but I haven't been this weight for over a year and my daily weight fluctuation was 183-185 for the last few months and within in a day now it's 180-181. Thoughts?

My mom keeps asking how I'm losing weight and I'm worried she'll think I'm puking or something because she always sees me eating chocolate and stuff.
