Testosterone is needed for muscle growth. Since the average guy only has so much, there is a physiological limit to how much muscle we can gain over time.
If you are absolutely dedicated (always eat healthy, more protein, monitor calorie intake, work out appropriately) then you could gain at most about half a pound of muscle per week, or about 26 lbs of muscle in one full year.
Given that math, your numbers are spot on. 13-15 lbs of growth in 6 months. But you have to be honest with yourself. Are you the average guy, or have you been working out like a champ? If you're average, its probably part muscle part fat. If you're above average, then yes, its technically possible for most of your gain to be muscle.

It seems like you are doing a lot of exercise but 15 lbs of muscle is highly unlikely in 6 months. I don't know if your bench went up significantly or not but if it didn't then I doubt it was muscle gain.
possible or you are retaining weight for some reason, sometimes stress will do this. Have you been stressed?
