No. They're just stating a fact, and it's kind of like a conversation starter. Whenever someone comments that I look tired, I think it's more about them being concerned about me and my health, you know, whether I get enough sleep or not. There's nothing wrong with being/looking/feeling tired, it's natural and it does not mean that you're ugly.

my manager told me that the other day lol. I did not take offense because he was right, I really was tired. I was up all night partying the night before and only got a couple hours of sleep and I had no makeup on. I think I'd take it as an insult if I wasn't tired but since I was, he was just being real. you can tell when someone is tired
Nah, I don't take it as a diss. When I'm really tired, I do look and act completely different -- I get really spacey and smile a lot less, so I don't mind if someone points it out. In my opinion, telling someone they look tired is simply just an observation, not an insult.
I don't even take offence to someone calling me ugly... I generally don't care about other peoples opinions.
No, I would not. I know people who think it's a bad thing to say but they are more sensitive than I am.

I don't think it should be taken as an insult. For instance, in my case, usually whenever somebody says it it's because I haven't slept, and I have dark circles under my eyes. Or, if you're a girl who wears a lot of makeup, and then you don't one day, somebody might say that (happens to me, because I wear quite a bit of eyeliner). I mean if somebody had the nerve to tell you that you look tired, I'm sure they wouldn't mind telling you that you look, either.
No.
You may genuinely look tired.
OK, so if you were passed out on a couch, or had a tired expression on your face, or had tired body language, statements of fact are insults? lol..hahaha, I think you may be over exaggerating a bit. It just simply means, you look tired, looks like you never got enough sleep.. I don't think anything of it, I just smile away :)
No, tired is not the same as ugly. Beautiful people get tired too. It means you don't look your best, but it's not an outright insult. I think people are usually just trying to show concern when they say it.
Nah, I usually take it as them having concern for me. My coworker told me I look tired just this morning, and I took it as a compliment because I've been working super hard this week.
or maybe you really do look tired..but either way it doesn't matter what others think,it is how you feel that is important, there's always rudeness in the world ,brush it off, don't get sucked in.
Not at all. I actually look tired most of the time by natural or if I'm wearing contacts.
And tired =/= ugly. -_-no I take it as it probably looks like I've had a lack of sleep... seems to me you take things way to personally.
No I don't take that as an insult. I take it as compassion from someone that is concerned about my well being.
I would only get offended if I made an effort that day. However if I feel tired and if someone told me I looked it, then I wouldn't care.
I don't take offense to it, they are probably right. I'm either really happy and excited, or really tired and need of sleep or relaxment
No I don't. Usually when people say that to me they are interested in why I look tired.
Honestly no it's not an insult...it's somebody stating that they are aware of your personal state at the moment.
Don't be so sensitive. :-PI don't take it to mean I look ugly, no. I take it to mean I look tired or exhausted, which doesn't mean ugly to me, it just means I may be less animated, more somber looking.
No I won't be offended. It is a casual comment. I had people telling that to me.
I think you're just a little over-sensitive.
wow. you need therapy for this anger.
No, because I actually am tired most days.
I juss b like yo don't you diss me bee
