This is definitely a younger generation thing. I feel embarrassed taking selfies alone, haha. I pretty much just take them for my profile pic here and that's it. I took one at the gymwhen the weight room was empty once because I don't have good mirrors in my place, and every thump I heard, I jumped, like "wha--Who's there?", and was all ready to pretend like I was just texting. Most of you young guns have no damn shame though, haha. I couldn't do it solo in public. My gf and I were taking pics of ourselves playing mini-golf the other night and I felt like a huge dork, haha.
The same as what I feel about people that take selfies in private: "What in the actual fuck are you doing? You're literally taking pictures...of yourself. You're either self-interested or...well yeah"
Meh. To me it gives off a negative vibe. It's just like, really?
I don't automatically assume that people who take selfies in public are egotistical or whatever. I just think it's silly. All the girls I know who do that are too into themselves and also give off signs of low self-esteem. The main thing on their mind is looking good.
I sometimes think what the hell especially with the duck face selfies what the hell is that supposed to do - someone please clarify that one

I guess it seems self absorbed. I'm not camera shy but I rarely take photos of myself or have people take them of me. I don't really see the point in it...
I find it more weird when they take pics of their food 🍰📷😔
As soon as I read this I saw one of my friends in class that was taking a snapchat and it almost fell on her face. I find it pretty funny, but depending on how cliche the pose is it can be very annoying.
I think they don't care who's watching.
