Girls. Would you kick a guy?

Question

in the balls? I ask because I have been entered into a martial arts competition and have just found out that it's one for girls AND guys and I'm going to be competing against a guy! The competition is fairly soon and the rules allow a strike to the balls and no protective cups can be worn.

I’ve never kicked a guy there before though and I’m unsure what to do if I get the opportunity to win that way.

Please tell me…

1. Would you kick or knee a guy in the balls to win a competition?

2. If so, would you kick as hard as you could, or just enough to win?

3. And would you feel any guilt or concern for him after doing it?

Are you ready to poke in each others' eyes? To kick each other in the stomach really hard? If not, you shouldn't don't go for his balls.  To kick a man full force into the balls can cause permanent damage. Even a light kick sometimes can. If so, you'll be charged for criminal battery.  If you decide otherwise you should at least warn him that you consider genitals (and the eyes) a fair target.

I took Karate for 4 years and cups were mandatory for guys.
Groin kicks are illegal in most dojos, except for the advanced belts. There they are given a point for a G kick.
In sparring I have accidently kicked guys and I want to tell you they go down and sometimes cannot get back up for 20 minutes or so. I saw some guys puke and one guy actually passed out.
For some reason guys claim they can kick us back with the same results. No way! I've been crotch kicked many times and I don't even flinch. I think some guys get all humiliated because any girls can defeat any guy with a groin kick. Personally, I just would not do it, and yes it is unfair to guys for girls to go there.

Being a girl I personally think you should never hit a guy in the balls, competition or not. Honestly I think the only time it's OK is if you are being attacked. Which has happened to me. This answeres all over the place, I don't thik you should hit him in the balls for this.

Well I'm a guy, but I'm gonna answer anyway because I completely disagree with all of the other guys here. I do Jiu Jitsu, so I can kind of relate, and I must say that, while I hate it, nut shots are very acceptable. Most guys there will have trained themselves to handle at least some pain (personally, I start each practice with a kick in the balls so I have to fight through it), and if someone goes for a cheap shot on me, I keep doing the same thing I've been doing, I don't try to get a cheap shot on them too unless I think it will really help me. So anyways what I'm saying is go ahead and go for the balls as hard as you want if you think it will help.

But you are in a martial arts competition? I wouldn't think that you should be trying to win out of desperation anyway. I mean, you've spent time learning different techniques only to aim for the balls, and a quick win? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that is the point of the competition.

you could flick a guy in the balls to make him go down...just win it the chuck norris way with a round house kick to the head.  Guys are super sensitive down there...also, that is the production ground for our sperm...one kick could put that factory out of business.  It may be a rule that you can but don't...out of respect

I'm sure if you resorted to kicking him in the ball he's would kick you back (you'd get boxed) or punch you in the boob. If a girl was gonna fight dirty like that, two can play that game. Kicking a guy in the balls is harsh and a cheap shot to win a competition.

It's like as if he hit you in the breast, or so. I've heard that also hurts like hell.

I think you should do it only as a last resort - I mean, it's his reproductionary organ. If you kick that too hard, you'll screw him up for his entire life.

if it's allowed in the competition, then the guy has consented by participating. and if that's the case, a good strategy for the girls would be to kick an opponent in the balls.

Nahhh! Girls can win in ways other than cheap ball shots - we have brain cells ;) Kicking a guy in the balls is pretty harsh - only to be used in total emergencies!  Good luck! :)
