Do girls like fighters?

i have to ask this because it p*sses me off to no end

I'm a kick boxer, I hope fight MMA (ultimate fighting) amateur at least one day, just on the side

but I can't understand how absolutely stupid so many girls are. you guys say you want to feel "safe" and "protected" by a man or whatever right, then why do you go for football players and such over guys who actually fight. I can't understand it, I'm 5'8 and I got a few extra pounds but I would never run from a fight ever and I can knock any of those jocks that girls after out easily. I don't go around trying to brag but being smaller in height, I just can't understand how you can feel "Safe" with a muscle dummy that is just big but talks sh*t over a guy who fights for real and could send any of those guys to the hospital with a head kick

when girls say stupid sh*t like this, its giving me Small mans disorder now and its driving me crazy

so my question is really do girls just dislike guys who can fight or is it all biological, you like the taller guys because that's how nature pre programmed you, even though I fight with guys way bigger then me and always win.

i just want to know the rational thinking behind this

this all started because in a class I was one in they asked girls who would you rather date just o the surface, this blonde haired tall blue eyed pretty boy or me and most of them picked him because he is "safer", so I snapped basically

Wow I'm in college and in the same boat. Even worse, I'm a minority. Been hanging around and with jock type guys, was drawn to the huge parties and constant scores of hotties on Friday night. Took up Thai boxing and bjj, its changed my life taugjt me to assert dominance and stand some ground. Anyways my 'buddies' were constantly scoring with hot, promiscuous chicks while I basically would only be getting teased. I've tried to find reasoning for this but unfortunately, women are every bit as shallow as men. I can probably beat up any od the guys i chill with. Chciks are too stupid to realize the value of a guy that can brawl vs some jacked up pussy, all they care about is heights and chiseled face and hcokey/football. It's just the way shit is and I'm basically giving up, been through three years of school with one blowjay and one hj. Every time I see a tall good looking guy walking with a hot girl I don't even think about the girl, just how to pummel the guy to a pulp.
Study hard, make bank, hop in that range rover, maybe she'll change her mind and opt for the bad boy with BANK while those jocks are stuck with deformed rugrats, an ugly ass crossover vehicle, and a sagging, bulging and wrinkling, weight gaining spouse. Beat wishes!

Is this high school? I'm a Capoeira artist myself, and yet I don't go around prancing that I can fight or defend myself. The point is, I think there are more variables why girls aren't dating guys like you.

For one, your aggression level is higher than the average male. This might be wrong statistically, but outward appearance and profession go a long way in how a girl views a fighter. Second, you need a real job. Most fighters never make it into MMA, and it's a tough profession. So that's a big reason why girls don't date guys like you. Next, this is a civil world. Just cause you can beat someone up doesn't mean your better or should be better than the next guy. This is why a football player, or a "gorgeous guy" would seem better on paper than a MMA guy.

Last but not least, it's all in the person. If you can somehow fight but remain a cuddly bear in private, than your just going to have to wait til a great girl comes along and wants to see that side of you. Otherwise, your going to be chosen based on many factors such as those above.

No its not high school, its just when people say your a small sh*t, ill stomp your face in and such, I do get upset at it, people actually didn't know I was fighting until a few days ago, I wanted to keep it under wraps because I knew it would cause problems

Not all of us "desire" the football players and wrestlers. We desire a guy who will look out for us, watch our back and be loyal regardless of his "girth or physical abilities."

Some girls go through a phase where they want to date the bad boy, the jock etc. It's all part of the novelty and romanticism of dating. As soon as she matures and has done a lot of dating, then she will begin to see what REALLY matters in a partner and relationship.

Don't despair, someone will be encapsulated by you solely and what you have to offer. Yes, it's frustrating when you see and experience the same things over and over. Just remember it doesn't apply to all females.

BTW, good luck with your fighting endeavors. I am a big UFC fan and actually follow Brock Lesner a lot. I have been a fan since he wrestled in WWE.

I don't know many girls who do like MMA/UFA fighters but a close friend of mine and myself do, we love the sport and would be there to support our man throughout no matter what.

I think that the taller and more brute looking men give the feeling of being protected and that makes us feel like nothing would happen, if I was with someone around my height (5ft7) and they were a pro I would feel protected but I would also feel that something would happen i.e getting jumped.

Every UFC/MMA fighter that I know personally have girls falling all over them, just wait and see

all girls are different, and most don't have "can he protect me" as the make-or-break trait in a person, there's a million of reasons why a girl likes a guy, so you can't trace it to one. If noone seems to like you, look at yourself as a whole, but odds are I bet some chicks would and/or do like you already, so chill out and enjoy your fights and let the football players keep those skanks ;) (no offense to football players or those who like them! haha)

Maybe its not the fact that you are a fighter and they are football players, I would look into your personality and see what else these guys have that you don't. The vibe I get from you is a very extreme one, so maybe turning your personality down a notch would make you seem more approachable.

I think there is one big factor you are missing here... Women don't look only to be protected. Sure security is something every woman would like. But there are plenty of other things... Are you attractive, do you have a good personality, are you funny... I promise you these matter more than just being able to kick some guys ass...

when we say that we want to feel safe and protected, it's not like we're expecting to get mauled everyday and need a body guard to start a fight for us. we mean someone who will protect us emotionally, and in my opinion, this hyper-aggressiveness you have is really intimidating, so try to open up your sensitive side a little more, and you might have better luck.

A lot of fighters are sure of themselves. That's pretty what it comes down to. Confident is the key factor.
