My opinion is that it’s because young women are encouraged to prioritise themselves over everyone. Like to be a wife and a mother you need a degree of selflessness. Gen Z and below don’t have that.
Like girls will only look at a guy and be like what does he do for me and not vice versa.

Obviously not all women. They’ll always be good ones. But most.

I am crazy about this girl. We had a short but full on relationship. The last two weeks there was arguing then we broke it off and it was mainly her not wanting it. She did consider getting back, but felt a weight off her shoulders when we broke it off as she thought it could get messy, thinks we could clash. Rang her the next day and she agreed to take a break. Then she rang me back a few days later and rinsed me.

Saying I didn’t make her feel special, didn’t provide for her and loads of reasons, and I agreed to make the necessary changes, apologised said I really like her. She was like ‘not sure not sure, you’re a nice guy.’ Said she just wants to be single for a couple months then get back to dating a new guy, and to delete the account we set up together.

It has been 1.5 months with no contact. I removed her off of instagram as soon as we broke up. Told her to never contact me again - as I thought that was it and was hurt, bit impulsive. She hasn’t blocked me off WhatsApp.

I was a good boyfriend to her. I didn’t do anything wrong, we all make small mistakes but nothing bad. We have met each others parents, a lot of marriage discussion. I thought we got on soo well. I am messed up. She was insanely beautiful as well. Once in a lifetime girl.

Imagine dating a guy from a really rich family and he earns double what you earn, making good money.

Let’s say he is cautious he pays for the first dates then requests 50/50. So you set up a joint account and put equal money in. He also gets you modest, not like designer stuff.

The reasons are due to concerns of being used, finding a gold digger, and being fair. Also concerns of like what if the girl leaves you and you’ve made this financial commitment to pay for the majority.

You can be a perfect guy and good to your girl and she can just one day randomly leave you: You do nothing bad or anything just argue a bit and that’s it she just pulls the plug.

That is scary. I’ve had it happen to me while thinking I was in such a good relationship and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get over that fear.

I might have all those things and more - but it still is a kill joy because it’s not a game any man can truly win at. The game is unplayable because you can’t be the number #1 guy in every metric. How are men judged on 50 things…. What are women judged on?

👉 You might think well normal guys get girls. That doesn’t mean the girls really want them in an ideal world. Normal men are settled for. You would have to live knowing that you aren’t what a girl really wants. That if she could have more she would.

I have a girlfriend and I tick all the boxes and she’s really nice and even then she loves all this shallow stuff about me. It’s nice and makes me feel sad like All these things that shouldn’t really matter, that don’t even make a good guy. But this is how shallow and immature girls are…

Sometimes I do think it is better to be alone. But then how do you progress in life without having kids.
