WE all, society as a group, need Humanitarianism

There's a difference between Humanitarianism, feminism and feminazis.

Definition of feminism: the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men.

Definition of feminazi: a radical feminist.

Radical feminism is a perspective within feminism that calls for a radical reordering of society in which male supremacy is eliminated in all social and economic contexts. Radical feminists seek to abolish patriarchy by challenging existing social norms and institutions, rather than through a purely political process.

Humanitarianism: is a moral of kindness, benevolence, and sympathy extended to all human beings.

Humanitarianism has been an evolving concept historically but universality is a common theme in its evolution.

Feminism means women can choose to wear what they want as men can. Feminism means that rape is rape, for both genders. It means they earn the same salary for doing the same job. Humanitarianism means since you're human it'll be equal for what you do.

Body shaming mostly occurs from feminazis, not feminists.

Feminists mean to empower other women.

Feminazis mean to degrade men.

There's a major difference between the two. One is positive, uplifting and overall good. The other is negative, degrading and overall, bullshit.

Humanitarianists mean to empower and help all humans.

People can't seem to tell the difference between the two. I can't go somewhere and say "I'm a feminist" without being told I'm sexist, ignorant, a feminazi etc.

Some women may not need feminism specifically but that's on them.

I need humanitarianism because I am equal to everyone else. I need humanitarianism because everyone else is equal to me.

I am not above other people and they are not above me.

Well what she is talking about, is feminazis. Real feminists do not belittle men, feminazis do.

Life yourself up by focusing on yourself. Your life, your happiness, your success. YOURSELF.

Do not "lift yourself up" by belittling an entire gender, or sexuality or race.

Well I am a humanitarianist and proud.

While yes, violence against women is wrong but it's wrong against anyone. No one should rape anyone. People should respect other people. Feminism fights for the rights of women while humanitarianists fight for the rights of everyone. There's so much negativity revolving around feminism when it's meant to be positive. Why not look a little higher to humanism and just love everyone?

We're all just humans telling humans to stop being human.

If you believe women are horribly oppressed by the all-powerful white cis-het capitalist patriarchy then what "achieving equality" means to you could be totally fucked up in reality.

Almost every prominent feminist I've seen, or big feminist organisations active in western society do or say ridiculous things pretty much all the time. The only legit one I can think of off the top of my head is Christina Hoff Sommers.

I see this Tumblr post but do these people actually do anything about these things? Regular feminists claim to care about these things but yet feminist activists don't address the issues. Where are the protests over sentencing disparities?

For some reason you try to cast off all the negative associations instead of leaving feminism behind and maybe just being a women's rights advocate or something, which makes me think you'd still have to be attached to feminist theory and/or prominent feminist activists.

The fact that you would claim to support these issues but then go on to alienate MRAs is telling to me. Why would you be in opposition to them if you're parroting their talking points? Although, maybe I'm jumping the gun, do you actually support the MRM?

Claiming they are using feminazis as a scapegoat for their rhetoric is using MRAs as a scapegoat for your rhetoric.

Feminism has always said it's about equality, yet seems to just get worse and worse. So when you try to tell me it's actually about equality forgive me for not trusting you when I have nothing to go on but your word and all the crap I've that comes from predominate feminists I see.

I'm not really concern about feminazis they are open female supremacists and defeat themselves just by speaking their mind.

Feminists on the other hand say they empower women (whatever that means, the vagueness of the term is quite useful to them) but the real world effects of their policies and theories drag everyone down.

That said, what I think are the dangerous ones tend to have a real problem going by anything other than feminist. So I suppose you're probably legit. :)

Feminist is supposed to be a term for someone who believes in the social, political and economic equality of the sexes. OF THE SEXES. Not Women being better than men.

I would say Christina Hoff Summers is an example of a good "feminist" but even she is wrong about things, she is still under the impression that women where mistreated historicly which is simply something feminist have lied about so long that its become truth. While I whole heartedly agree with you, I think the problem is the definitions of things keep changing, we the people keep changing them. So feminism and humanity are all social constructs that in maybe another 5 years might mean something different. PC society will be something different what's right in 2016, might just be wrong in 2021. and depending where you live mean different things. Well thats incorrect. Feminist do belittle men. You pretty much pointed that out. By claiming women are not equal you must ascribe a reason for that inequality, so either women are inherintly inferior to men or as feminist see it men are evil oppressors. Either way you do not believe in equality. Feminst wanted equality to men, so they claim, but then why do feminist not adress the fact that women have actually had it better then men for all of history? Why do they not address the fact that men and women couldn't vote instead of just talking about how women couldn't vote? Why don't they address the fact that men getting the right to vote only 67 years before women (less then one life time) was ONLY do to them being forcibly conscripted by the government into taks that where dangerous and life threatening (like posses for police, bucket brigades for fire, and as soldiers for military) or be imprisoned for their refusal (something no women has ever had to suffer through at any point in time) that is because they had to risk their life and well being they argued they havign contributed the running and functioning of the country with their very literal blood, that its only fair they have some voice within the government. Women on the other hand refused the right to vote (most anti-suffragest/anti-feminist where women) specificly because they did not wish to have those responsibilities. It was only when they where assured that they would NOT have the same responsibilites as men for the same privledges that women agreed on suffrage and thus the law was past. It was not men fighting it it was women because they did not wish to lose their privledges like being supported by men, not having to be conscripted, being treated like they where nobility (this is where the notion of chivalry came from it was a code of conduct meant to show fealty to nobility which was then applied to all women). Femnazis do not misrepresent feminism, quite the opposite really they are to representative of feminism. Because they are to upfront about their beliefs and ideologies its hard for feminist to function since the entire premise of feminism is based upon mens slavish devotion to womens well being, if they begin to see women as abusive and exploitive and privledged then feminist cannot capatalize on the social conditioning that makes every one see women as weak and helpless and in need of help. Thats the only difference. So no, feminism, feminazis are the same.

But they are and I explained why. If its about equality then why have they created inequality? If its about equality for women (notice the exclusion of men from that statement?) then who do they need equality with? It is by its very fundamental principle antaganostic towards men. If they claim they are unequal and they want equality for WOMEN they are saying that men are above women, that is men have more rights then women (ironic since as I have already pointed out that is the exact opposite, women have far greater rights in all catagories then men do) this also places blame on men for the situation thus creating a us vs them mentality ie its all mens fault. Ergo its literally impossible to hold the foundational beliefs of feminism as true and not be against men. Feminism is contradictory in its nature and this is proven not only by simple analysis of its tenants but its actions and words as well.

Well that is the usual feminist response to questiones ie ignore them and play ignorant. However that doesn't alter what was stated, the questiones asked etc. The questiones that are not answered and are ignored are actually more then ample evidence to prove my point. That is to say you cannot argue because their is nothing to argue. Feminism is was and always will be about hurting men for the gain of women. Well let me pose a question: if we met in person and I told you that I was a "men's rights activist," what would you think of me? Would your view of me be colored by the connotations that accompany that label, or would you assess me with a completely open mind?

The reality is, labels carry baggage. "Feminist" and "men's rights activist" both carry a certain negative connotation. Most men will think ill of any woman who labels herself a feminist because we've heard enough of the up-with-women-down-with-men rhetoric that the leaders espouse.

This isn't 1965 any more. Women have equality, so it's quite silly that so many women complain that they're being oppressed by men. You know what, most men are oppressed by men, too. We're oppressed by our older brothers, our fathers, our male bosses, the male tax collector, etc. Women don't have it that bad in society today. In some ways, they have it better.

So stop labeling yourself and complaining about men. Just work to make the world better for everyone. All ships rise on an incoming tide.

Radfems had taken over most of feminism official nowadays, so that's is main reason why the many people assume that woman who tells them that she is feminist, is an delusional misandrist with many mental disorders. Don't take it too personally, in most cases people who criticizing feminists are in fact radfems, but there are some sane feminists as well, even though they are much less known. Personally I don't have an problem with women who don't shave their legs and/or doing an manly job (like serving in the armed forces), so you can say that I have feminist views. The body shaming that occurs from radfems is focus manly on sexy women with revealing clothing, they call it "objectification", which is bullshit claim in most cases, and radfems are contradicting themselves on this issue, because on the other hand many of them are supporting "slutwalk".
