Me and this boy have been together for nearly 5 months. We had a really good relationship, I loved spending time with him and got on with him really really well. But about a week ago we had a little argument and didn't talk for 2 days, On the 3rd day I called him asking him if he wants to meet up, as I'm around. I just thought this was a stupid argument and it really isn't worth all that drama. He said that he was sleeping and didn't really want to meet up and started explaining to me how this whole relationship doesn't make sense blah blah.. So I said to him that it would be better if he would come and meet me now and say it to my face, and he did. He said that he didn't think about it much, only decided when was on the phone to me. He said that he doesn't regret the 5 months we've been together, that we can still be friends, that whenever I will need any help he's always there for me, and also mentioned that he realizes that he will probably regret his decision but it is his decision...
We work in the same place but different units so I only saw him for few seconds few times that day. We didn't say anything to each other then. My friend spoken to him and he said that its for the best and said he looked like he was about to cry. He asked my other friend about me as in how am I doing today...
The next day he said hi to me and smiled at me to which I replied with a hi also. He also popped in to my unit and asked for something and while I was giving it to him he tried to touch my hands but it didn't happen. I'm off for next two days and then I'm doing different shifts and I've booked a holiday at work so I can have few days off for myself so I probably won't see him any time soon.
What could his behavior mean and is he likely to want me back? He didn't have a proper reason to break up with me and I know that he loves me... And if he does is it okay to take him back? Also, how should I act around him at work? I act normally with our coworkers, but I find hard to look him in the eyes and don't know if I should avoid his unit or just keep acting like I always did?
