Found Socks That Were Not Mine?

I do my own laundry and have my own washing machine. I never go to the laundromat. Married 10+ years with 3 kids. About a year ago I found a PAIR of men’s white tube socks in my dirty clothes pile that were not mine. My clothes pile. I have always done my own laundry.

I have never worn white tube socks. I wear ankle high Puma socks snd Gold Toe black dress socks for my job. I have never seen my wife wear white socks. She always wears colorful socks.

I had a bit of a shock when I found them but didn’t jump to any conclusions. I simply took the socks and laid them on our dresser in plain sight to see what would happen.

Weeks passed.

One sock disapeared.

More weeks passed. Maybe even a few months.

The second sock disappeared off the dresser.

She she never said anything about the socks. They simply went away.

Am i am I paranoid to think my wife cheated on me? Our marriage is seemingly good and I would never suspect her of cheating aside from this happening.

What do you think? Do you think she cheated? Where did the socks come from?

What do you think the chances are that this is a case of infidelity?

I don't get it... if she was ur wife for 10 years and knew that u never wore white socks ever. Then if she was cheating, she would totally try to take both of the socks off the dresser and hide them from ur sight inna state of panic.

But they were gone one at a time. She prolly had a family member over? Or she prolly borrowed a friend's socks for something at one time and wanted to double check if it was theirs & showed them until it was confirmed and then returned them both?

I would ask her about it but it may be too late now. Because she could play that “I don’t remember those socks?” Game because it’s been a while. But also it could just be nothing.

I'm not understanding your tactic of putting them on the dresser to see what would happen. Does she normally say something about stuff left on the dresser? What would happen if you left the goldtoes on the dresser the same way? If she says something about that then you could ask why she didn't say something about the tube socks. Do you have a cat or dog that might have hauled off with those socks? Or dragged in a pair it found laying around the neighbors yard?

What I'm thinking is that she's riding another guys dick. But, I wouldn't tell her anything yet. If I were you, I'd buy very small cameras or hidden cameras to place around the house. Notice where she travels to and what time it is and what she says. Analyze her behavior towards you and see if anything has changed with her over the years.

My first thought was ghost but I guess cheating could explain it too

Could be their socks, or maybe one of their friends. If your wife did cheat, I don’t think she would be stupid and let him leave his socks. She would have gotten rid of them

Children’s ages are 3, 8 and 10. The sock was for an adult foot.

The socks were in my dirty clothes pile, She might not have known they were there. Also keep in mind the socks were on the dresser and disappeared one at a time never to be seen again.
