What does it mean when your ex likes your best friends instagram posts?

My ex of 7 months broke up with me 3 months ago. The breakup wasn't bad it was mostly just because of distance issues and we were at a different point in each others lives than when we first met.

She said she wanted to stay friends and I said No that there would always be something more there and I wouldn't be just her friend and if she changes her mind let me know. I haven't talked to her since then, but I noticed she keeps liking my best friend (female) photos on instagram.

It wasn't like they were big friends and in fact she's maybe only hung out with my friends a total of 3-5 times? I'm just curious as to why she's so interested in them now? I really don't have feelings for her anymore and would gladly date someone if the opportunity arises but it just has me very curious! What are your thoughts?
