My ex-boyfriend wants to "start over"?

So my ex decided he wanted a break about 2 months ago. I was hurt and whatever, moved on (kind of). Now he wants to "start over" & I have no idea what he means by this. I don't know what his intentions are & I'm confused! I want to move on & meet other people. But, I don't want to hurt him, & I do kind of miss him, I just need some advice from both guys & girls !

I think he means that he wants to start a new relationship with you like when he first met you. I want to say the same thing to my ex and start over like we never knew each other but I know that will never happen.

It's kind of like saying he wants to erase all the past and start afresh. I don't know what his true intentions are but that as all I can offer you right now.

``Kind of'' missing him is not good enough reason to re-kindle a relationship. What kind of quality can you expect from this (new) relationship.

Better to put some boundaries around the old relationship and move on.

Tell him this: "Things were so broken before that you gave up on fixing them. Starting over just means you still can't fix things and want to just pretend the problem isn't there until it blows up and takes a chunk of my heart with it again. No. Move on because I'm going to."

he obviously doesn't know what he wants, but right now its you again. the question is how yu feel? do yu want him back or are you happy without him? if yur doing fine by yourself my advice is to stay that way, no point in going through the drama of a relationship if yu don't have to
