My ex text me this morning after ignoring me for ages and making it clear he doesn't want me by saying he's focusing on himself and no one else.
I have bought him gifts and begged for his love for months to get told he's focusing on himself. Im currently blocked on socials.
Why would he text me i hope your okay?
As if im gunna reply yeah im great thanks im very much hurt over the way he's treated me.
Can someone help me out as i had to accept the fact it was over to get an hope your okay text like its not fair on my head.

That’s what my ex did. If he’s like my ex, he doesn't really care, he just wants your attention and to keep you around.


But my ex was scared of commitment and will never settle. It’s good that you didn’t reply. He didn’t ask a question anyway, so if he really wants to talk, he can try harder than that.

Yeah it hurts tbh and he goes out drinking most weekends now and follows loads of girls on instagram while he told me he wasn't after anyone just focusing on himself. He can't commit never could he always has to gave girls on the side. Its sad because i only wanted him

It does hurt, and it's hard to cut contact, but that's what you have to do, because you have to show him you are doing just fine. If he wants to mess around with different girls, then let him. But he will realise he had a great girl right by his side. He wants you to be thinking about him and not move on, and he probably does feel guilty too. You just have to be strong, and let him come to you. But don't wait around for him and talk to to other guys.

Thank you yesterday he text me after all my heart felt messages asking was i in work and i replied saying yeah and he said what time till and i said 7 and he just ignored me i text him why and he still ignored me i think he was going out I don't know im just so fed up why would he text me to just ignore me like all the time

Well you're doing the right thing by not contacting him first. He wants to talk to you because he wants to keep you around, and he probably doesn't want you to move on.
