She likes me and I like her but is still healing from her previous relationship. She wants to stay as friends, should I wait for her and stay?

So we met at a friend of mine's wedding and during that time I was introduced to her by her uncle, and so we both exchanged our info's towards the end of the wedding, she was 21 at the time where as I'm 27. I had hit her up later that night via text as this was a long distance and she told me she liked me. Following days for 2 and a half weeks we start video calling each other here and there, saying good morning and good nights, and she becomes flirty with texts, sends me short videos of herself being silly or sending me selfies. During a video call she's showing me her funko pop collection and hello kitty stuff then pulls out her laptop and immediately I knew she wasn't supposed to see an image on there in which was a photo of her ex and her. She became upset upon seeing the photo as it was her first real relationship for 5 months. So she puts it back down and we change topics and start talking about her upcoming Vegas trip with her older brother and her upcoming birthday. Fast forward to her trip, I message her and i get a somewhat dry text of "sorry i'm trying not to look at my phone," so I reply with "that's okay you do your thing and enjoy your vacation." Fast Forward again to her birthday, I wish her a happy bday and I get a "Hi and Thank you!" I felt like something was wrong since her texts became somewhat dry during Vegas so I asked and she replies with nothing's bothering her. Day later she texts me she wanted to talk about something. She texts "I think you're an amazing guy and any girl would be lucky to be with you, im just not the girl. TBH I dont think Im ready to be in a relationship knowing I'm not over my ex. Hope your okay with just being friends!". Knowing me, I told her straight forwardly that I liked her (second time now) and I did see her as a potential long term and that I would think about it and give her an answer later in the day. Should I remain friends with her and wait for her to be ready to commit or should I just move on?
